No catch.  The core of PSM was already built to support our business, a very small studio only shooting Fine Art Photography using products and tools we already owned so from an investment standpoint for us the only costs were time and ingenuity – no funds.  We added functionality to support business models similar to our own but shooting and offering a wider range of products i.e. package groupings and scenarios. 

We are the first to admit that we do not include all of the features you will get using the industry leaders and would encourage you to review each of them carefully before making a decision, but on the other hand we do support all of the core “absolute must have” features they offer to run efficiently at a very competitive price!  

As you research the services and programs available you will find that there are no core offerings/products providing the functionality that we do at a purchase price of $39.95.  The closest would be the monthly renewable subscriptions running $25 to $65 a month.

We set our price based on the following:

• Microsoft Access based standalone programs are typically offered for sale in a range from $29 to $350 and we wanted to stay at the low end of this market.  This is not our sole livelihood and our only investment was  time, no funds
• We wanted to stand out as a “gap filler” for the small studios or start ups just getting into the business providing the required core processes to run an efficient studio at a no risk price, this just does not exist in the Photography Studio marketplace today
